Gennaro Gattuso, a brick wall of Milan and Italian defence got into a comedy situation yesterday when Italy lost 1-0 to Egypt in the Confederations Cup.Shock win for the Egyptians over the world champions. That's another story though. How thankful I am that he was wearing underpants! :D

Along with these team honours,he also has a huge list of individual honours which include U-21 European footballer of the year,Man of the match for 2003 Champions League,Defender of the year in Serie A,twice part of UEFA's team of the year,Best defender in the 2007 Champions League and has captained the Azzuri for 8years and in the process is the most capped italian international.
